So I have recently learned about Social Bookmarking (Digg, Reddit, ....) and and the SEO value they bring.

I wanted to find out what tool you are using to get your new blog posts submitted to all of these sites at once...kind of like what Ping.FM does for your social networking.

There has to be a better way than submitting these one-by-one to all these social bookmarking sites.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found a couple sites SocialMarker.com and OnlyWire.com. I would love feedback on these two sites!

I've used Onlywire.com. It seems to do the job. I've noticed those blogs that I use it for really shoot up SEO.

I don't give too much weight to social bookmarking for SEO. It takes a lot of resources to compete in the real estate space and I've never even heard of people talking about how social bookmarking helps in this space. Just my opinion.

Social Bookmarking helps you gain backlinks which is an important way to help with SEO.

And Onlywire is DA BOMB!

If it were only that easy... everyone would do it (and they do, but it doesn't create results) websites like digg.com can do wonders! My site persuasive dot net was on digg once and there was so much traffic that it shut my site down! (The digg effect)

At the same time, it's VERY VERY difficult to get on the "front page" of these types of sites. You need to write very compelling articles that deal with news, funny stuff, interesting videos.

Usually, to get on the front page of digg.com, you need to have "power user" "submit" your site digg. Then if it gains enough momentum, it'll go on the front page, sending you tens of thousands of hits.

If I were you, I would write really interesting articles about your real estate market and just focus on that.

I keep adding to my SEO and social bookmarking is something I have yet to start. I need to look into it.

Do not give Facebook your cell phone number!!! It is now a requirement to do so by Facebook now. They want your number so that they can sell your number to marketers and then they will send you loads of text marketing messages. You will have to pay for those messages, so do not give them your number!!!

In my opinion, social media is more for brand recognition and getting your company name out there. You could get some quality links from social media sites and I would add it to my standard online marketing with SEO and email marketing, but I would never depend on social media marketing alone.

No-follow, low (if any) PR links from social bookmarking are going to have a very limited effect on SEO. If that's your only incentive for social bookmarking, your time could be better spent. But as a tool to get your message out, it does the job well (specially if you have compelling content that might be of interest to mass audiences).

Writing good content is what will get you noticed on these sites. People will bump up your content if it has value, so find something about your local market that is interesting and promote it. Also, just like anything else, you must be consistent in your efforts.

I would recommend onlywire for bookmarking it is very similar to ping.fm and you can connect it to you blog and it will auto post just like ping.fm.

There is also a service called social maximizer that is excellent.

Although low PR is not as effective as high PR sites, the more links the better. I have been marketing online since 2004. I do not cut corners and do not believe any link is a bad link. You will not hear any internet promoter and very few SEO experts says social bookmarking is a waste of time. If I need a site to rank quickly I hit up the social bookmarking and within 24 hours can see major results.

High PR sites will always make you rank longers and are the best but quantity is also imporant
