I will add my experience in case anyone is searching for this information: I have a newer MacBook (Intel chip) and I used Bootcamp to partition the hard drive and install Windows 7. This works quite well. I can either start the computer as a Mac, or as a Windows computer. I have to decide at startup, I can't switch back and forth while working. The Windows computer works perfectly fine, just like any windows computer, no problem with using Paragon.
Bootcamp is the total package, but it requires you to buy a Windows License. If you are running independent programs or applications, Bootcamp is the besst.
Crossover lets you just use the Windows applications you need. It won't run everything, but for using IE it is the best solution.
