My membership in the Utah Bar allows me to become a real estate agent without 120 hours of course work. Therefore, I will just need to pass the test and pay my fees. Can you point me in the direction of a good prep book for the sales test? I am not finding much online.

Also, how long do you think I will need to study for the exam to pass the first time? How long and hard did you study for the exam?

I just need to know what book to study out of so I can pass this thing! If it is not to much trouble please paste a link.

I California, attorneys can practice real estate without a real estate license. You should look at online schools that sell an exam preparation course, not the actual learning materials for a license.

In Ohio, attorneys can also practice Real Estate without a license.

In NC I think an attorney can dispose of a client's property or act as an agent for a buyer and charge a fee plus other such duties of the law practice clientele.

But in order to list properties for sale and work with buyers only as their real estate agent and get paid a fee, they need a real estate license, from what I get from the wording.

As far as exam prep goes and a book to do it from - just do a Google search or contact a cram course provider in Utah, or community college that teaches real estate courses.

If you passed the bar exam you'll have no problem with the real estate exam.

I would contact one of the real estate schools and find out who the vendor is who does the licensing test. Then you would know what test prep books to purchase.
