I passed my class exam (NC - with a 96). I am taking the state asap.

How soon should I start talking to companies? And how do I go about doing that? Should I call? Do I need a resume?

I know that most of you have discouraged going part time, but due just getting married and cost of living, I can't just quit my full time job. Not now at least. I want to see if RE is for me and to find out if I can be sucessful. I can put evenings and weekends into it for as long as necessary. How do I get the companies to give me a chance and do you recommend any certain companies that would let me try part time?
