This is so true... and it's not really much of an exaggeration. I've actually had some potential short sale clients say that they're in the middle of a loan modification but have been unemployed for several months.

I keep doing these interior BPOs—they are all short sale and they all have brand new furniture—some still in plastic and they are all this fancy Victorian stuff..looks like the Country wide was giving away furniture with a refi?
I just think it is odd that the people who chose to take out these huge loans and are in over their head—now expect the government to relieve them of the debt—--as they rally against the government for not cleaning up this mess fast enough----really?
