I am working on a deal that I represent the seller, the buyer is int'l (Venezuela) putting 1/2 cash down. The closing was expected for July 31st, it did not happen because of the paperwork & translations, fine, extended, extended again, now they are asking an extension until the 10th, & the appraisal has not been ordered. I don't understand why they are waiting for the last minute for the appraisal. I don't even want to call the seller & tell her we might not even close by this weekend! I told the buyer's agent that if the appraisal is not done by Friday to forget the deal. What experience have you had with international deals?
