I sent out a mailing & did not realize the price of stamps for postcards is actually 0.28, I used first class 0.44. Are you guys sending out postcards using regular mail 0.28?

You can get cheaper with a bulk mail permit. It will all depend on the volume you send out and whether you are blanket mailing or sending to specific addresses.

Once analyzed a bulk permit may make fiscal sense or not.

I checked on bulk but it was not feasible for me, at the time. I went to the post office today & purchased 0.28 stamps.

By using stamps, you will have any undeliverable mail returned to you. This helps you get rid of bad addresses.

Just keep in mind that if your postcard is bigger than 6 inches long or 4.25 inches wide, you'll need full first-class postage.

I've never been a fan of bulk mail. Yes, it can be cheaper, but in my book, it also screams "throw me away!" Maybe I see it that way because 99% of the bulk mailings I receive at home go straight to the circular file, unopened. I don't have any hard data to support this, so take this for what it's worth, but I've always felt that a the more personalized the mailing looks (I've always preferred using hand-lettered envelope with a regular old postage stamp), the more likely it is to be opened than a bulk mailing.
