I'm new to the business and have a question. When bidding a job, do you take photos and submit along with the bid? Whats the easiest way to measure a cubic yd of trash just by looking at it? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well, I bid my first job and am currently in the finishing stages of the cleanup. After i got started, i realized that i had under bid the project substantially. Trash seemed to multiply in that little house, i couldnt believe it. Well, live and learn right. I'll be better prepared next time.

if your working for a national company chances are they knew you underbid the job and thats the reason you got the work. There are so many people in this business now in most areas that the only time they hire new people is when someone is messing up or they can get something done real cheap by someone new. It happens all the time....
