Hello all,

I am a internet marketer from the eastern pa area and have been working to get a geotargeted website for realtors around my area ranked on the first page of google. now that its ranking well i would like to start contacting realtors to see who is interested in getting the leads. To be fair, i want to charge them on a per lead basis...the leads will be tracked and pushed to the agents office.

Does anyone have any advice on how to approach the realtors? As of now i was thinking i would just gather a few emails and send out a bulk message saying something along the lines of "im getting X amount of people to my site a day, what if even a fraction of those vistors called into your office?"

An important thing to note is the fact that the people who are visiting the site are typing into google "NameOfTheCity realtors", so they are directly looking to deal with real estate agents.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Do you know any Realtors at all? If so I would suggest approaching them.

However, I think your bigger problem is that because you are unproven, most Realtors are going to keep there money in there own pocket.

I suggest you need to approach it as offering free 1 month trial period to prove you can deliver qualified leads, then try to convert those Realtors into paying customers.

thanks for the reply kjmendy.

Unfortunately, i do not know of any realtors at this point in time. Wish i did it would make this process a whole lot easier.

I do like the advice you gave about the free one month, ill have to try that. That way i will also be able to hopefully develop a sound relationship with them before any money is involved.

Thanks again!

any further suggestions would be great as well!

So you designed a system for people who you don't know ?

And on pure speculation that you would correctly identify their business practices and how you could tap into their revenue ?

Aren't some of them right there in your phone book? Call them up.

I'm not so sure that the concept of "Build it and they will come" will apply here. I spent decades in systems design and happen to know that the key to any good system is accurate problem analysis.

You never want to develop a solution that is forever in search of a problem. But good luck. Call your local Board of REALTORS® or your local MLS Committee. See if you have something that they might want. That should have been done first. Good Luck anyway !

Offer your service for $1 for the first month then charge whatever you want from then on... the number of people that stay should let you know how you're doing.
