How much do you charge for a rekey??

My contractors are charging $120.00 to rekey and secure. That's what Fannie Mae will reimburse. Some other lenders have a $75 max figure. Considering that 2 knobs and 2 deadbolts only cost $20, that leaves a $55 labor cost. However, if you're dealing through Safegard, Cyprexx, AMS or similar, they have stupidly low pricing for their contractors in spite of the fact that they charge their client full price.

Can anyone tell me if Key code 352XX is the same as the Fannie Mae 525XX???? Thanks.

Those numbers refer to the pin numbers in the lock. So yes, each of those locks with different numbers take different keys.

Jack - on a Fannie you are only required to change out the knob. If you believe because of location that a deadbolt is necessary then contact the AM and she will up the price so you can install a deadbolt or six depending on the location. Hee hee
As far as key codes - you can get a set of keys that open all key codes from several diffent sites - there are like 6 or 7 diffent keys that all the banks seem to be using.
