Well I'll take another attempt at getting some discussion going in the Canadian section.

For many years I have had people asking me about how much I thought that there Ontario Land Transfer Tax was going to be. Every time this happened, I'll open up my trusty excel file and give them an estimate.

The problem was that I could never find a calculator online that I liked and trusted enough to refer people to. Well that has now changed since I commissioned my own Ontario Land Transfer Tax calculator, and since I was doing it for myself I ensure that the First Time Home Buyer rebate was added as well.

Thus I proudly announce that today it went live at:

Looks good.....although if you google 'LTT calculator' you will find page after page of links with calculators on them. Law firms, TREB, etc. Personally, I just use a normal calculator so that I don't have to go online to do it (or do it in my head if it is a nice round number).

MHT - Thanks for the reply. I have googled LTT calculators before, but I never really liked any of them before for various reasons, hence getting my own developed.

Looks like the Canadian section isn't going to be getting any discussion going soon.
