I am going to lease a space for a hand car wash in a few months, outdoor space. There was a zoning change which will go into effect in March, so until them we will not be able to submit plans to the city. I want to secure the space by giving a deposit. How does this usually work? Is a lease drawn from the start stating the time the lease will take effect or just the deposit with a deposit form is enough? I am going to meet with the person who is in charge of leasing the space and I want to be ready. Thanks.

I agree with super realtor. An attorney will save you the headache later on. The attorney will know the story down the line should you need legal offense/defense.
This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
