I've been seeing 250 for exteriors from one particular bpo mill but not sure if this is the norm. Haven't received from anyone else.

Yeah it varies. 250 is a fair price depending on what asset class it is and how much detail they want in the report.

NVS is currently surveying its Vendors looking to see what they (we) would charge for Commercial BPOs (Exteriors and Interiors!). The question itself seems to reveal a simplistic view of the complexity of the Subject.

It's always simple conceptually until you're deeply involved in dealing with one . . . . and then it becomes somewhat like Uncle Remus' Tar Baby.

I asked them to Show me the Form ! Does a Gas Station go on the same Form as a 10 Unit Apartment House, a Donut Shop, or a Supermarket ?

They have no clue.Evaluating commercial is very complex and the mistakes of a wrong evaluation are that much higher.

Many residential mls's most agents have access to have a small commercial section. To get accurate comps you need to use Loopnet and Costar and that cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars a month to belong to those services.

If mills believe they will get commercial bpo's performed for say 50 bucks more or crap like that they are on serious crack.

I have added a CCIM to my reo team. So now I want to starting going after commericail BPO's. How do I find out what companies do commercial BPO's? I know of a couple already.

So i'm taking it that its not like the residential BPO's where there are 100's of companies?

We go directly to the banks and offer to do free BPOs for them. It is all a part of building a relationship with them.
