3d TVs and 3d games are already here, soon this new 3d technology will probably expand to the web, it would be nice to be able to see homes for sale in 3d , I haven't seen a true 3d real estate website yet, but I have the feeling that 3d will become a popular feature in the near future.

I have registered a few real estate related domain names in the hopes that they might get popular in the near future:

3dHomesForSale.com

Homes-3d.com

3d-MLS.com

3d-RE.com

3d-RealEstate.com

Wow, that's really thinking outside the box, to get ahead of the curve.

I can certainly see the usefulness of 3D in promoting a property on the net.

I believe you need to take the pictures of the homes with a 3d camera in order for people to be able to see them in 3d, also people need to have 3d enabled computers and must wear special 3d glasses if they want to see the homes in 3d, although some companies are working on 3d systems that don’t require wearing any glasses, but that’s a few years away at this point, but as far as being able to see homes for sale in 3d that might be possible a lot sooner than we think.

I was thinking 3D Movies initially, but having your pictures in 3d would probably be a lot better. I've found that on some properties pictures lie, and the property either looks way better in person, or more often the worse.

However in 3d you could get a lot better feel for the relative size of the property.

Good luck to you in getting your sites developed!

Being able to show 3d movies of homes is probably the next step up, although there are some drawbacks to the 3d technology right now since some people might get headaches while watching 3d movies, and a small percentage of people (less than 5%) can’t even see in 3d, but once these problems are worked out I believe that 3d can make a big enhancement to the way that homes are shown on the web or on TV.

That is actually very creative thinking...the first to act are the ones making the most money! Great creative thinking - impressive.
