If I had the money right now, this is what I would do if I opened my own real estate company

1. I would have an 800# for listings with automated descriptions

2. I would have a text # for each listing w/ automated descriptions

3. All of my leads would automatically import into 1 contact management system.

4. My contact system would "track" or "watch" what the consumer was doing online and would respond based on the consumers activity.

5. All contracts would be paperless (so we wouldn't have to store files).

6. A marketing system so that when I put my new listing into MLS, the software would import the listing information into my marketing sites (ie., Craigslist, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)

Why do you need your own real estate company for that? You can do all that yourself within any company. Unless you work for a company that doesn't allow you to do anything. By the way the company I work for RE/MAX Alliance in Colorado does do nearly all of that.
