My favorite order was in interior BPO in a very rural area. The listing agent met me at the house to warn me about it. The homeowners were still living in the home, but had no running water or heat in the home. On the back deck they had dozens of plastic bottles to collect rainwater to use for running water, and an old shed that they would periodically remove pieces of wood to burn for heat.

Upon submitting my report I included the cost to bring heat and running water into the home. My report was rejected stating that I needed to photograph the repairs. Um, a photo of no running water coming out of the faucet ? A photo of no heat coming into the living room ? You betcha.

Can I say I hate QC that is India-based? Yesterday..."I know the market is stable...please make a time adjustment. Also a location adjustment."for a property only a couple miles away from the subject. I added a note that neither a time adjustment nor a location adjustment was warranted and sent it back.

Just got one rejected because my map only showed one address. Ummmmm subject and all comps are condos.....AT THAT ONE ADDRESS.
