Im taking my test the 13th, I have studied and studied. I just got by on my classroom exam, and taking the state is stressing me, I really want to pass. I have been reading my course book from front to back and using highlight stickers to high the things I should read before the test. Any other advise for fl?
Another Question: What Do I ask in broker interviews? Will they need a resume this is my first job.

I know many people who have passed the FL exam. In FL they say "when you get your driver's license, you get your real estate license too" since almost everyone has it. Still I would study a lot. Sign up for practice exams online they should help you.

Actually the Fl exam has a quite high failure rate and it's not any easy test. You can retake it for a small fee and many, many people take it a number of times before passing it. It's strange cause only the 2 week course is required to take the exam, then the exam requires quite a bit more knowledge that most people get from the course itself. Dont worry though, there's no shame if you dont pass it the first time and for an extra fee they will go over in general where you are not scoring well..I'd study the sample tests to get the best idea of what to expect.

I passed the general and failed the state my first try....went back the week after and passed the state..stick with it Don't feel bad, I know LOTS of people who failed it on the first try. It's not uncommon. But like you said, sticking with it is the important thing. It's not so much life's challenges that matter as much as how we DEAL with those challenges. And certainly, the real estate exam qualifies as a 'challenge'.

It is so interesting to hear about the different states test and how many people fail it on the first try. I am in Oregon and we are required to have 150 hours of certified class time, and one can do it online if the school is registered with the State of Oregon. There is a lot of information for one to absorb and I am not at all sure it really prepares one for the real world in real Estate, however it is what it is and you just need to focus and study. In Oregon the Real Estate Agency has a book you can purchase that has all of the past test questions in it. They add new ones all of the time so no guarantee any of those will be in the actual test, but they are a good study guide besides the class time. Perhaps some of the other states also have information such as this. Our test is also split into two parts the State and the Federal. I was fortunate and passed both the first time around with a high score, it came from lots of focus, study and preparation and finding someone who could answer the many questions I did not understand.

The first thing you will want to do is have confidence in your self "DO NOT OVER STUDY" you will forget everything, second which is very important is to relax, anxiety will cause you to fail even if the material was studied from front to back, third make sure you have great night sleep the night before the exam. Do not pick up the book to cram you will forget everything, fourth eat breakfast nothing big you don't want to be tired during the exam, fifth during the exam take a long deep breathe and I mean under any circumstances DO NOT CHANGE ANY ANSWERS... The easy way to take this exam is, if the questions are hard don't waste your time on it go to the next question. Answer all the easy questions first then go back to the hard ones. You only need a 75% not 100% just imagine if they were 70 easy questions you will likely pass if you need to guess the other thirty. A rule of the thumb there will always be some dumb answers in a question, so I would advice for to do process of elimination trust me the probrably of guessing between two answers are better than guessing between four. You should do well...

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
