I took my FL Real Estate Sales test, got a 70/75
How long do I give my self to re take it?
Anyone else ever take the FL test?
Should I re do my schooling, I have an option to attend for free it will take 4 weeks do I do it?

Just concentrate on the sections that you did poorly on and do plenty of practice tests. Now at least you have a feeling for the test. Don't feel bad, when I took my exam the lady in front of me said it was her 4th time.

If you failed the state exam you only have to wait 24 hours to reschedule and take it again.

However, if you failed the end of course exam you have to wait 30 days before you are able to retake it. If you fail your 2nd attempt then you have to take the entire course again.

Take the practice exams until you consistently hit 75+ points, study the questions you didn't get right and that should give you what you need to take the exam again AND pass.

thank you, no it was state exam not classroom. I Guess I will be studying all over again.... * facepalm!

I would do it sooner, rather than later. A) you will remember what you know is right if you do it sooner. b) you will remember what you boofed up so you can get it straight.

It looks like you can make the difference with a few questions. Make a goal to hit 85%. You can do it. Go through all of your study materials and focus realy hard on the stuff you know you bombed. I bet if you nail a couple of key points you were confused on you can pass.

Ask yourself is why I failed the test because you didn't know the material or do you get nervous taking tests? If you get nervous taking the tests than you need to prepare for the day of the test so that you are as least stressed as possible.

A technique I use on all tests is I go ahead and answer the questions I know 100 percent. Then after I see the layout of the test I go back and have eliminated choices on those questions by answering the other questions I already know.

This will increase your chances of making a right choice from 1 of 4 answers to maybe 1 of 2 possible answers or it will give you the answer by elimination. This simple strategy will boost your score greatly. It will also help you not get anxious on a timed exam or get stuck on a question and waste a lot of time.

I am in GA but passed my first time but there were others who had failed 2 to 3 times.I don't think it was them studying but HOW they were taking the test.

I dont think i get that nervous besides that the obvious. But that seems like a very good technique! I will be studying and set up for the next test for about a week or so.

Force yourself to read every word of every question. That sounds simple; but, in reality, I'll bet you missed one or two questions just because you mis-read the question. That cost you the test. Many of the questions on the state test are similar to questions on your sample tests. Do not be fooled by that, because those similar questions are often rearranged or reworded so that the answer is different than you assume it to be.

I passed on my first try but do not feel bad that you didn't. Most people don't but the main thing is that you PASS... not when you pass.

One of the things that they weed out is people who do not want it bad enough so they quit trying.

Don't let it get you down! Just keep trying.

Everyone learns differently. Some people take practice exams as well as enroll in the cram course like through Bob Hogue to prep for the state exam. I didn't do that. To me that is information overload. For me I focused on the theories. I ended up reading the book over and over and over to make sure I understood the theories. The only practice exams I took was at the end of the chapters as well as on a CD. I didn't use that book with all of the practice questions for the state exam. Information overload for me.

It depends on your strengths though.... How did you study. Did you study... did you read everything in the book? Did you review the book and concepts?

The questions on the state exam are asked that way purposefully.

Just don't be hard on yourself! Just keep trying.
