I am currently trying to rent a house through a real estate agency. I am not sure what they will be looking at when they check my credit report. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what my chances would be to rent. I know that my score is around 733 (I have never owned anything before, but I am currently renting an apartment). If they are considering my salary, I make at least 3x what I would be asked to pay in rent each month.

I am currently waiting to hear if my application is accepted and I was just wondering if anyone could help me by knowing what they will be looking for.

Thank you in advance for your help!!

Sound like a good candidate to me with a deposit down.

You might be better off buying with that good of a score. This is a down market which is an excellent time to buy and you could get the first time home buyer $8,000 tax credit.

You have to be under contract by April 30th and close by the June 30th to get the credit. You might try calling a mortgage broker to see if you could purchase.
