I tried searching with no luck so I figured Id ask.

I looked up allowances or pricing for my state on www.cubicyard.us. Here in MI their maximum allowable per 1 unit is $X. And I see what they pay per cubic yard, rekeys, max. for debris, ect. The maximum allowable for debris is 12CY....that is just a warm up in my area. Many of the properties in my area will have way more trash than what they allow. Im wondering how that works? Do I bid the whole job, or do as much as I can based on the allowable and then bid the remaining debris? Wondering how fast they turn bid approvals around.

Also wondering how difficult it was to become a vendor and what your experience has been. I have turned in all required info. and followed up with a voicemail.

if it's over the allowable for anything, you usually just bid everything and do nothing. but that is a totally general statement and each of your clients will have their own set of rules. it's really easy to become a vendor if you want to work for nothing! who did you turn your info into?
