Are you encouraging agents to be unethical? What should they do about the rules? Many companies are now requiring us to state we took the pictures ourselves.

...our mutual customers greatly appreciate your expertise. If you cannot personally inspect the property, select comparables, and determine a price for the subject, please do not accept this report. Per the BPO Standards and Guidelines adopted by Clear Capital and other industry leaders, the use of assistants to complete any of the aforementioned tasks is not permitted.

Absoultey Not But realistically if you want to make any kind of money in doing BPO's you have to outsource. How hard is it to get the BPO, go take the photos, then come back and actually complete the BPO all while the asset management provider is calling all the time on the status. Why not just place and order on a site and know your photos will be back to you with in 24 hours and ask the photographer if any damage or anything of that nature. We strive to Save You Time and in turn Make You More Money!

Also PS. Elender Solutions, RRR, Farvv, and few others have nothing in their termas and conditions about not having your assistant or company take photos.

Thank you for your feedback...

Dan, if you are licensed. Why don't you just do your own BPO's and then the problem is solved. You can have your own crews run around and take your photo's and when something bad happens only you will suffer from the error.

I do BPO's for myself as well. BUT there is a market for BPO photography all over the United States. If it wasn't successful and I didn't have a dedicated field staff I wouldn't be on this forum right now educating the other agents that don't know about my service.

Thanks

This is absolutely incorrect as it relates to FARVV. Page 1 of the Field Associate Agreement states:

"A material aspect of the Services is the Field Associate's written representation on each Service provided by the Field Associate that the Field Associate personally and physically inspected and/or visited the subject property...."

Wrong again. They "didn't just add that"....I have been on their panel for some time, a couple of years at least. My manual has it and it is not new by any means. For a guy trying to "educate" us, you are providing some pretty bad info.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however.
