I just got a counter thru equator. I pulled it up on the site & it shows the first column original offer, 2nd counter then 3rd column agree/reject. They countered the 2nd lien at 10% so, do I have to send this to Chase? How does it work from now on? Chase told me that once I get an approved HUD to send it to them, does this mean I don't accept until Chase approves it? Do I print this form? I am lost!!!
Thanks.

OK - is Chase the second? If Chase is the second then yes they need to approve it.

Do I print and send what is showing in the equator site? Or do I need to have the attorney draw a new HUD to send to Chase?

Since the first is fine with what you submitted - then yes - send a new HUD to Chase. They want to see what their numbers are and then they will accept or reject. Once they accept - you are good to go. Don't let them touch your commission - they love to do that.

I assume you are talking about a short sale? If not it could be different.

Grampa - yes you can now do short sales through equator. It is still crazy but does somewhat streamlines the process and gives you a record of where you are.

I know I have heard that BofA is using it. Does anyone else out there know if other than BofA is doing so?

Nope - right now the only company using it is BOA - they are the only servicer available when you log on and click on initiate a short sale.

This is the first one I do through Equator and it has been smooth. I have even been able to make contact with the negotiator and she has even called me to tell me that the counter was being sent! I am not sure if all equator short sales work like this, but this one so far has been good. Now I have to deal with Chase.

Thanks to all.
