I second that, the Google stuff is working out well, including their documents, everything is on their servers and accessible from home, office or cell at anytime.

Between Microsoft & Google you can pretty much get everything done.

I have to try out google calendar. Can anybody who uses it give their opinion as to what features are the most useful/efficient?

I'd be interested in that one also. I just started playing with it.

i use it to track everythign...leads, client information, under contract timeline

it syncs with my palm pixi and works awesome. my assistant can make changes and i get them while on the road.

they have one of the best it departments in the world if not the best....why be a small business and worry about outlook and other syncs and stupid stuff like that....let google take care of the back end so that you can sell more homes!

well worth the cost...free...normally something that cost nothing is not htat good, but this is an exception. i used to use palm desktop and then outlook and then switched back to palm desktop and then switched to google and like it the best. i have no problem switching to a better product, but feel that it is the best thing available to me right now.

I agree google calendar is great....

I also use Officer Pro 2010

I recently started using DocuSign...GREAT software...

I know have all my clients sign everything with a digital signature...Saves a lot of time and uses a lot less paper

I like it because I can access it from any computer.

It is private unless I want to open it up to public viewing (which I do not...but others may want a public display for various reasons) I can set certain events to repeat a certain number of times. I use it to remind myself to post certain listings on craigslist or other similar activities, to update a seller/buyer on something, to follow up with a lead...etc.

I can have it send me pop up reminders or email reminders. I like that I can see the whole month, week, or day at a glance.

I like it? No I Love it!

Just about everything I do is in MS Office. Outlook with Active Agent and hosted exchange is central. It keeps my contacts, emails and tasks synced across multiple computers and my smart phone.
Onenote is an awesome program.
I use Livemesh to keep all my files available on multiple machines and online.
I use Skydrive to back-up the most critical documents and pictures.

Software that I found a couple of months ago that I really like is Nitro PDF Professional. It does everything I need it too with regard to PDFs and wasn't as expensive as legally obtaining Adobe Acrobat Pro.

If you use Word you can download a free "printer" driver that actually turns your documents (including Publisher and Excel!) into PDFs. Works swell:

I guess it works with any program, not just Word.

That said, Open Office Suite has a built in PDF document creator. It's also free - great alternative to Microsoft Office as it is able to work with Office files... unless you want PUBLISHER...it will not work with PUB files.

Office 2007 has a "save as PDF"feature built right into it.
