Glad to hear everyone is safe and sound Ryan. Now it's just a matter of replacing the stuff. It sounds like you and your insurer are on the same page. Scary stuff.

Had to turn down a bunch of orders in the past 3 days because my house caught on fire Monday night. Damn oven decided to turn on in the middle of the night for no reason whatsoever. Hopefully the incinerated remains of my wife's precious Tupperware will remind her not to store stuff in the oven anymore!
On a good note, I was blown away by the excellent service by Allstate. They put the wife and kids at the "penthouse" suite of the local hotel for 4 nights and even paid for the dog to get professionally cleaned (white shitzu + burnt plastic soot = dirty dog).
Hope things are looking up at this point. Thank God you are all alive and safe. Char

Just a note to BlueHoo or BPO Joe or whatever name you are using today:
I am licensed in your sweaty state, salesperson in 1996 and broker in 2003 and still have an active broker license and real estate corporation license in Florida.
Maybe Joe is the male and Blue is the female, or vice versa

I can tell that there are several more agents on the bandwagon now - probably purchased a list and NO's AA & AF. I see orders disappear faster now the ever, and from companies they use to sit for hours on. On the other hand - they may get to them first - but I am confident I'll be fixing their problems as time goes by. Just say'in - a couple of orders today - more to do this weekend

ORT $35 orders and RRR $40 orders snapped up here. Poor little agents....I took one ORT interior for $55, close by and a home I have been in and want to see again.

i have to get ready for another blast! OMG - who was it that had to prepare for their closing? Reliant Roxie or Lucille from the Woods? What a blast from the past. Seriously, I don't care about Joe, but I'm glad Ryan's family is A-OK and that there is minimal damage.

THAT was funny! Let's see, we've cashed five commission checks this week...I'm pretty sure there was no "preparing for closing" going on.

I just wonder what goes into "getting ready for a blast." Here's a few thoughts I had: 1.) Clicking finger exercises. 2.) Opening a million windows to go from site to site. 3.) Drinking a couple Big Gulps (like Abby on NCIS) to amp up.
~OR~
4.) Firing up the Auto-Acceptor.

Just when I wanted to take the weekend off...my favorite company sends me 6, 2 companies I work for sometimes send me one each, M2M sends out 1, a diff company sends out one for $55....aaargh...I can't accept them all...and I already told FARVV not to send me anything until Monday. I'm ready for an assistant!
As if that weren't enough, another realtor referred me to Eval...(who needs friends like that?) who has called me twice in the last couple days...and the last time I didn't take the call.

Just when I thought I was getting my head above less BPO's, renter drops the "I'm going to be late bomb". I got a commission check today (3 days early). That will just about cover the mortgage....Tons of orders coming through......have passed on all of them...busy doing the normal real estate stuff....guess, I'm going to have to get busier......lol

Uh oh. You can do it Candy. This sounds like your personal rental. I was there lat year. 5 months with no income on it. I made it somehow.
No one ever died from being busy, but just from worrying about being busy. Hope that helps. Just take a few deep breaths and think about how lucky you are you could.

Doin'
I shouldn't complain....Last month was the best one in two years....all lisitngs under contract.....all offers from my buyers accepted.....I have one in counter stage that should fly by Monday.
I found myself putting in long nights, again, on BPO's. In December, I said I was cutting back.....didn't quite work out that way. Last month, when sales took off, I was as excited as a kid in a candy store....If this is a fantasy, as one member believes, I want to keep livin' it......just don't want to do so many BPO's.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
