julian M Junior Member Registered: 03/01/10 Posts: 2 Loc: US	once I have sold my house, I plan to buy a piece of very rural land outright- ie: "cash" all at once... I will likely rent a place in a town nearby until I either re-sell the land or build. my question is- since I need not get a loan for the land purchase, will my less-than-stellar credit score ever factor into this in any way? thanks for your input!

On the other side, landlords often run a credit report before renting to a new tenant. If your "less-than-stellar-credit" is really bad, you might have a problem finding a suitable rental.
