I am thinking about going a new direction with my current website and came across www.realpagemaker.com and have to say I am hooked. They are based out of Edmonton, but do some work in North America as well. I found a few sites in the Chicago area that use there service. I didnt stumple upon this site until late Wednesday and havent been able to discuss if they would be able to work with my local MLS.
I dont know if I am missing something, but they site has everything I could possibly want and it is almost what I am presently paying without IDX per month. I know the company is legit as I called a couple of the Chicago Realtors who have there service and they love it. No problems. Am I missing something?

The monthly fee they quote is for hosting. The fees for access to IDX would likely not be included.

I saw that the fee was listed as Hosting, but then below that it clearly states no hidden fees. The website states that RPM Agent is fully intergraded with your MLS and is a IDX/VOW system. Below is the pricing for RPM Agent.
RPM Agent is the most competitively priced Real Estate Agent Website system in the industry. Setup - $0.00 Hosting - $600/year or $70/month Custom Design - Contact Us For A Quote Hidden Fees - NONE
RPM Agent is fully integrated with your MLS® System, allowing you to show all regional listings through your website.
100% integrated with your MLS® Full IDX/VOW system Complete listing details with your name EVERYWHERE Enticing lead generators Unprecedented access for your customers
I could be wrong, but it clearly states that everything is included in the hosting fee and that is the only fee.

I would be curious to know when you do confirm. IDX costs would be different for each area so it must be hard to charge the same for everyone.

I tried loading the page you had in your link, it took more then 20 seconds to load, so I left. That tells me they don't know anything about SEO, especilly with the titles on their pages, which means you may have a pretty site, but no one is going to find it in search engines. :(

Where's the back end? You need a CRM system to get your money's worth. Doesn't appear to be here.

Customer Relationship Management System.
How many do you need? Having one in the back end of a website is not really necessary if you are already using one to manage your non-internet clients and prospects.
For the vast majority of Realtors I would think that most prospects and existing clients would have come from conventional activities and it is easier to simply enter internet clients into your existing system than the other way around.
As well, most MLS systems have follow up systems for prospect matches.

Plus, if you use the CRM which comes with the website you will someday find yourself with a giant pool of potential clients in the database of your website provider.
Then, if you want to change website providers, you will most likely will have to move each client individually, as most databases don't allow mass migration of data with all of the search features/categories intact. This is one tactic they use to keep your business.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
