I am a recently licensed real estate agent in
Jacksonville,Florida, I am also a former investor with considerable contacts and also do a lot of networking on the social sites, plan to specialize in investment properties, which I have bought and sold in the past. At this point, do not have any need for NAR,FAR,AND NEMLS and it's ridiculous fees. I am just looking to get started again, without having to go deep in the hole. If anyone knows of any good NON-NAR BROKERS IN my area, please pass them along, your help
will be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you just look for some printed real estate advertisements where the Broker involved DOES NOT display the REALTORŪ trademark or the MLS logo.

Talk to these people, and check them out. Whether they're any good or not will have to be a judgement call on your part. Good luck!

Jay,
In Florida, you do not need to be a NAR & FAR member to belong to the MLS. What you are looking for is a "thompson" broker, so called because the federal court case that brought about this ruling was brought to the court by a Plaintiff named Thompson.
These generally are very small companies or companies formed to give agents a chance to keep their licenses active and collect referral fees.
Ask around, they shouldn't be hard to find.
