How much did you make your first year?

About 35,000 but I started in August of that year.

I got lucky and made about 60k but I started in a very hot market where average sales price was over $400,000. Now a new agent would have to do twice the work to make that much given the half price sale we are having.

not bad. Years following your first, did it increase rapidly? 25% each year?

$20K. Full time in July, first listing by September. It was year 2000.

I made $8,000 in my first 6 months, then $55,000 in my first calendar year.

I made 60k in my first year.
Keep in mind the answers we are getting in this post are not representative of average.
The fact that we are on this forum and answering this question means that we made it beyond our first year. Most of the agents that made 0-30k are not still around to talk about it.
(There may be a few people on these boards that are no longer agent, but hanging out here if they are not in the business would indicate a mental illness)
