Any body have recommendations good or bad?

Mine is not a laser; but I've had a $10.00 UltraSonic DigiTapeŽ which has been serving me well for nearly 20 Years.

As I mentioned last week; I don't know if DigiTapeŽ is still in business.

I bought the Bosch DLR130 from www.toolup.com for $99. It can measure up to 130 ft. They also have one that will measure farther but I have no need for that right now. I like the Bosch because it will measure and read out to the 10th of of an inch. This makes it much easier when figuring sq footage. All the others I found would only read out in inches or meters and I would have to convert everything to inches to get a total and then back to ft for my totals = PITA. I love this tool! It uses 3 AAA batteries. I have had this tool for about 8 months and I am still on the first set of batteries.
