Hi,
I have completed my FLORIDA RE SALES ASSOCIATE online course and passed the final course exam. I was happy with the course(name withheld),but I'm not happy with the state exam prep they offer that came with the course.Seems like they are trying so hard to prep me for any possible scenario that each of the questions are about a half a page long, very complicated, lots of memorizing involved and instead of prepping correctly I'm stressing out trying to remember anything and everything.I did an online search of the best, most popular and easiest online state exam prep products and there are three choices I have narrowed it down to.They are: NightBeforeTheExam.com(What I like:Uncomplicated, they have a meter that shows your weakness and prints out a cheat sheet to study), LicenseProfessor.com(What I like:Uncomplicated),and RealEstate-School.com(What I like:Florida based, also uncomplicated and online or printed flash cards available).I would appreciate a review or opinion of any Realtors out there that have used or have heard of other Realtors that have used any of these products to help prep for their state exam in any state and specially for Florida.Thanks.

I took the exam in Fl now 4 years ago.
I studied for the exam with the BOB HOGUE review/test questions manual and successful on my first attempt at the exam. You probably are aware that the pass rate is fairly low on the exam initally but you can pay an additional fee should you not pass the exam and they will advise you at the test center as to what categories of the test that you scored poorly regarding.
Re taking the test is a pretty minimal fee and it is quite common for multiple attempts before successful scores are obtained. Many people advised me to take it the first time for practice, anticipating failure, to get a feel for the exam.
I couldn't handle accepting failure, so I studied for months before I took the exam!
My advise would be to read the question carefully as there are a lot of double negatives and additional information that you dont really need in almost every other quesiton!
Good luck!

Don't know where you are in FL, but when I was licensed in 1997, the schools usually offered weekend "cram courses" with the math portion covered on Friday late afternoon, then the rest in two 7 hour sessions on Saturday and Sunday. It was called Gold Coast Schools. In Palm Beach, Broward and Dade.

It proved to be really useful and helpful

Not sure if FL would be similar, but in GA, the test is administered by AMP (goamp.com) and they sell a test prep book here as well. I purchased this book and I believe it made a big difference in how well I did on the test. The questions on the test are worded somewhat differently than the class I took and reading the amp book prepared me for their style of questions. If you have the same option in FL, I would definitely buy the book.
