Hello, After countless hours searching websites and talking to locals i am Still completely lost on purchasing my first home.

I need to know what questions to ask, or if anyone has a great reference for a realtor who will really "have my back" and get me the best deal possible on a new home!

Awesome, I will definitely talk to Jennifer ! Also, do you have any questions a newbie should ask when trying to find a home? are there tell-tale signs of a bad purchase that I should know?

Website is nice. Search feature is good with the one downfall being LOAD TIMES. I use Google Street View as well on my properties. Street views is not available in all markets but is expanding.

Ihomefinder was thinking of using this technology like this website is set up. Their research indicates however that a page taking even 1 to 2 more seconds to load has user experience drop significantly (they go to another site)

So having restaurants, street view etc. is nice but until load times can equal the speed without those features most search companies won't add it yet.

The search engines are putting more emphasis on load speeds as well so to much video or graphics can hurt your site for SEO rankings.

Lost in Colorado. That is a pretty nice site. But for your most up to date listing search you should use recolorado.com. This is run and owned by the Denver Metro MLS. Though you've probably noticed the lack of details on nearly every listing you've found on the internet. That's because the Denver Metro MLS really restricts what Denver agents can really describe about a property. I'm just happy I don't have to use that system. You might try homesincolorado.com also. But it will probably be similar in the amount of detail.

Heh, well its not my site, but I'm sure you could talk to them about their SEO?? rankings.

I honestly just thought the tool was pretty nice ( being able to draw a line around a space that you are interested in is definitely different to me.

(ColoBroker) I will definitely look at both those sites, and really appreciate all the great responses! Will keep you posted

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
