Do you post your professional pic on these sites?? I just had mine made and I feel like I look "too professional" to be social. Thoughts? Thanks!

I post my picture that I use for real estate on my facebook page. However I have use a relaxed looking picture for all my real estate stuff. You can see mine at www.Facebook.com/KnoxRealtor. What is your facebook profile URL? I will add you as a friend and also give my opinion on your picture. I hope this was helpful.

Currently my Facebook picture is Talky Tina from the Twilight Zone, as I felt very much like Talky Tina the last few days. Created quite a stir. ha ha ha

I flip flop between my professional headshot (which really isn't all that formal anyway) and the occasional fictional characters, sometimes my dog, or a pic of me and the kids....I make Facebook as fun and casual as I am.

My REAL ESTATE PAGE has a picture of the lake on it.

You can find and friend me if you want - but don't spam me or I'll delete you quicker than lightning.

lol I love the Twilight Zone! We recorded a marathon at new years. I watched that episode about 2 weeks ago. Thanks for the invite. Maybe the occasional new listing, but no spam :) I keep mixing my pick up too, thanks for the input.

Thanks, Blake. I added you as a friend on FB. I posted a pic similar to yours, relaxed and casual. I removed the other, way too stuffy for FB, I think.

Why post doctored pictures? Post pictures that you might have taken on a summer holiday or vacation. You want people to see you as a regular guy next door.

This is interesting to read. I have my stuffy marketing pic up and I'm noticing lately I may be posting too much helpful real estate content as I'm getting less views and comments. I'm heavily considering changing my photo now to a more casual one. My thought for keeping all my marketing with the same picture was continuity and so people don't think I'm someone else and can recognize my 'brand'. I guess that's not so important on FB since they are all people I know anyway. ;-)
