My husband was looking into starting a property preservation company in Ohio. I can't find the laws governing Ohio on this type of work. If he is just going to sub contract from places like safeguard does he need a business license? To start off he was going to just subcontract and then if it progresses he was going to actually start a business if this is allowed?? Anyone that has any insight I would appreciate your help!! My husband and just stated a property preservation business in Mo. You need lots of expensive insurance and a tax id number a business license. Along with tons of marketing and lots of research with skill.
