Looking at advertising profile in DSNEWS online directory for brokers/agents.

I have a unique standing in that I focus mainly on commercial but will handle some residential.

Has anyone advertised in the directory and seen any results??

I have not received any work from my ads there

I advertised in the directory for three years and received no response. It was $3,000 down the tube.

I am seriously thinking of advertising in Mortgage Servicing News as I see these AM companies advertising in there so figure it could be worth it.

Nope, didn't get any results. Don't do it unless you're into wasting your money.

I seriously thought about it like the fool that I am. I figured that my money would be better spent advertising in a less expensive online REO agent directory. I purchased an upgraded membership with assignreo and have recieved several calls and iquiries regarding my profile. I'm not endorsing this particular one but I can say I've seen results from it. And it's a fraction of the cost of DSNEWS. Don't waste the money, pay your bills! Thats my 2 cents...

Did these inquiries result in any REO assignments?

As far as DS News/The Red book directory, it didn't work out for me. I renewed my membership after being told they were making changes, etc etc. I'm not renewing no matter what they say.

Has anyone else had good experience with AssignREO?

No response. Do not waste your money. Everyone one is trying to get money from the agent.....the lowest on the totem pole.

Assign REO has brought me nothing either. THey did offer me a $50 discount to renew for another year. I think that many agents have non renewed expired profiles and they need to keep the database full somehow.

My results were a big zero after advertising in the directory for 3 years. Turns out, it was a big waste of money. Your results could be different but I would recommend that you avoid it.
