Why are you asking?

Are you referring to REO asset managers and asking because you are trying to get listings? If so, I have to wonder how you accumulated 87 posts without knowing much about the rules around here.

lizl - what rule was broken?? i've been a member here for a while as well - I have read the rules - and can't make heads or tails to what you are referring. please clarify. additionally, the tone of your email is rather strong considering the question that was asked, don't you think?

Luchador It's number 2.

Well...that's for the bpo and foreclosure forum. Not sure if it applies here. I just noticed it was in commercial forum. Sorry to step into it you all.

Where the asset managers are located is of no difference. Your states governmental regulatory agency has a list of banks and deposits they keep on hand. From there you will see all banks doing business in that state local and national.

Servicers of loans are broken down into residential and commercial.

Some local banks keep listings in house and more larger regional and national banks will keep some in house and farm out the rest to different asset companies throughout the nation.

Look at www.mortgageservicingnews.com to learn more how paper works.

Yes, it's #2 on the BPO Forum, and not the Commercial Real Estate Forum.
