Weichert Relo - anyone else have a problem

We have a $500,000 home under contract as the selling agent. It is listed by Weichert Relo and they insisted that we prequalify with Weichert Financial. (WFS) The WFS lender told my client that no matter who they financed with, the title insurance would be paid by Weichert RELO. We put the property under contract after we were told that all of the inspection defects on their inspection had been corrected. (Again before binding agreement) There is more, but that is enough to get the picture. All of these facts are not refuted by Weichert. Now, Weichert says that they are not responsible for Title Insurance and the defects noted on their inspection that were not fixed (90% of them) are also not their responsibility. I want to walk my client, but they really want the house; any suggestions. I took it up with a RELO supervisor and his fact finding was totally false. My next step is to go to Weichert Corporate; they are really a mess to deal with. Any Weichert agents who can help me get this to someone who is ethical and understands the law as well as our ethical requirements in dealing with the public?

I have it in writing and confirmed; it was later rescinded after the binding agreement date. We have forwarded our complaint to a person higher than the asset manager who said the items in question were promised in error and therefor will not be honored?
Are any of you to Weichert agents? Are you not believing this also. That is why I am asking for a Weichert senior executive contact. Obviously the issue is one of misrepresentation; how far do you go and I actually ratify the misrepresentation if I proceed.

Sounds like someone got caught sleeping behind the wheel. You should be awake for your clients.

The problem is that my folks want the house; it is a $500,000 home and the amount in question is less than $2,500. I can make a Federal case out of it and have advised my clients to walk; but they still want the house. I know the next time I deal with a Weichert agent, they will pay the price; but it simply is very bad ethics on their part and I had hoped someone would say "that is not the Weichert" I know or someone would say me to. This business is tough enough without this garbage. I am assuming this is how Weichert Relo does business. The are basically hourly employees and have no broker to complain to or file an action against. It would cost me more than the issue totals to take them to task outside of Weichert
