I have been looking thru these threads for a couple months now when i get time. Very nice forum and very true to find info needed. Thanks to all.

I have been in the pp biz for 4 years now. I am questioning not only myself here but asking others in the areas if they seem to be experiencing a major slow down in work orders form new property securings to full cleanouts. My company was use to new securings if not 3 a day for over 2 years and now the last part of the 3rd quarter have only been experiencing a few redemption cleanouts and maybe 1 cfk a week.

No its not quality of work Ha Ha - I have had primarily the same 4 employees throughout and our work hasnt changed. We work with 2 nationals and mostly try and keep up with them (usually) and also work with 8 or 9 of our local reo agents who throw us some work here and there more profitable of course.

My question is has anyone else been experiencing this or is it maybe more localized by state slow down. I know daily that there are a numerous amounts of houses out there that are vacated and not being touched. Was just thinking they were holding them tell the 4th quarter but now im not so sure. ( mayebe for extended tax credit)

Any info would be greatly appreciated or any ideas ??????

Im not sure in your case, I know around here there are more companies like mine popping up. I mean a lot of companies that will do the work for half the price. I had one broker tell me that a guy cleaned off a property for a 100 bucks, when I put in a bid for 250...250 was cheap for this stuff, I have 2 6X12 trailers and we would have to make a least 4 trips to this house. I think in the tough to come by money times, even brokers are going with the best prices for the same quality of work. Thats just a guess..

Yah, I think that is a clear point in alot of areas. In my companies case we may get undercut here and there but the companies dont last long as they are usually not up to par on biz practices.

I truly believe there is a hold in our area. My local agents have some hud work that we are doing but 2 of my nationals who i stay in contact with are just not getting any orders.

Being the 4th quarter as i had stated i would believe the bigger companies gmac etc would be moving the houses (cleaning them out etc) as the winter is going to set in.

Things here have been on the slower end as well. Maybe due to the holidays coming up?

My largest National account has gone silent this week. No talk or news of another moratorium. I've been told that the Nationals are not receiving work.

Yep, my main ones have been quiet as well. Only thing that actually came through were a few bid approvals.
