Thanks for the great replies! I know my main focus when i finish school will be on actually getting listings and buyers, not how many, but it is good to have an idea. I will be living about 45 minutes away from the city i will be working in so i know time will be a issue. Hopefully not a large issue though.
I think it is also important to remember that the quality of relationship with clients will diminish as an agent loads up on listings or buyers. I care about this more than trying to max out my potential, but I suppose that was not the original question?

I think so too, I think what Shana and others were getting at is once you reach a certain point you take on an assistant or a buyers agent to share the load.

If you get too many listings and it's a problem to handle the calls for showing appointments you could always use a showing service. We have several agents here who use them. I personally don't like it because I can't ask any questions about the property before showing it, but I can always get the appt. set up and don't have to chase the listing agent.
I've thought about using one of these services after my listing inventory gets to a certain point. Most of the also email feedback forms the next morning so that's another thing you don't have to do unless the agent doesn't email them back then you still have to call.

Thanks for the kind words Marty. You're right, I care. I actually passed my license years ago because I couldn't find an agent who cared for my needs. So far, 89% of my clients who closed with me, get back to me in a way or another, for themselves or referrals.

You use the showing service, what is the problem to call the listing agent for more information.
This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
