I had a request from a listing agent to shoot a couple of photos indicating interior condition on a new property that was coming up. It had already been rekeyed, but the combos that I was given didn't work. Lo and behold, a large Penske truck rolls up with the trashout guys from the large national firm that the bank hired (who had driven from 3 hours away, no less). They had the correct code, and let me in. But the former owners had removed ALL of their personal belongings, cleaned the kitchen and bath, AND vacuumed the floors! I don't think I ever saw that before.
Will the bank pay that company the same for NO personal belongings as they would for a house full of junk? It seems that if the house had already been winterized (it was), then the lender already had a decent handle on what shape the interior was in...
