Please advise on a new-brokers owners websites design - with all the blows and whistles that comes with it. Any experience with specific website companies for a reasonable price to be able to have most of the features (such as IDX, etc.) Any help appreciated! Thanks! Laura

Laura wow I don't know what it is on your mind??LOL smile "with all the blows and whistles"

Laura how many agents do you have or want to have?

www.busyagentpro.com is awesome for what you want to do. For IDX you will need to check with your local mls and they will have a list of approved IDX vendors you can work with.

Busyagentpro uses Ihomefinder which is a great service and BAP can customize it for multiple websites.A flashy website is not what will attract the agents but technology and commission plans.

You can spend 5k to 20k on a website but it is not necessary.

This is sort of like saying "how much does a car cost?" Well it depends on what you want to do with it.

Can you get by on a budget site that costs less than $100/year. Sure absolutely you can.

But you can really spend as much as you want (10s of thousands of dollars).

Perhaps if you describe more specifically, what you want the site to do, more clear direction can be provided.

Hey Laura,

I'm also a broker and use BAP for my websites. I've been using them for 4 years now and it's been able to do everything I want to do. Pay attention to what Super Realtor is saying. He's very wise and has helped me with my business.

Thank you all for your information! I really appreciate it! I know I wasn't tooooo specific for the first time so let me clarify a little bit. I'm broker with no agents working from home so that will probably explain a lot about how much I can spent on website design and how much marketing I need to attract other buyers - not tooo many:)because I won't be able to handle it all by myself. What I need (and want) is to have a professionally designed website so my current customers (or future refferals) can go there and search for the properties and also, as soon as I enter the listing it will be posted on all possible websites automatically. Simple, right:) Hope that helps and some of you can advise. Thank you for your time! Laura

I was about to suggest the same company. I stopped doing web/seo for my former broker now that I have started my own brokerage. They now do my former broker's site and they are the only ones who can come close to the status I achieve. I believe it's realestatewebmasters.com Great job on design, IDX, on site seo, and off site seo.
