Is this real? 50.00 for someone in another country to complete a bpo? I'm actually offended by the offer. Who would do this?

If you read it fully, you'll see the guy is licensed in SC and presently on military deployment. Just looking to pick up a few extra bucks.

Yeah, And I say more power to him! He's putting his rear on the line for all of us, so what the heck! It looks like he's doing interiors for $50 in S.C. only and will soon be licensed in CA.

Hmm.... well. I had a pretty big debate about my feelings regarding "auto accept". I'm stuck. I agree with "more power to ya!!" because he is risking his life for us and our country but this takes even more work off the agents that use auto accept, auto fill and pretty much rely on other things or people to do thier work. But whats the difference? I could hire an assistant for my office or on the internet??Hmm.. I cant wait to see the different points made about this. Im kinda stuck in the middle. Either way I have alot of respect for our military and always be greatful!!

If anyone took the time to READ the website, it states this guy is deployed, it doesn't say where, just that he's deployed. He's got a steady internet connection, so I'm betting it's not overseas. Whatever.

The website says this is INTENDED for REO BPOs, not day-to-day BPOs. In other words, you've already got the listing and need to do a BPO on the property, instead of a MSR. YOU provide the information, he does the inputting. End of story!!!

Has nothing to do with auto accept software or cheating a mill out of your ounce of sweat. It a particular niche, it may or may not appeal to you.

I did before I posted. I don't have a problem with it. My feelings have nothing to do with his being in the service. I do not see anything wrong with anything this guy is doing...at all. The fact that he is in the service is irrelevant. That said, thanks for serving our country. I hope you get some biz doing BPOs..

My comments were directed at the hand-wringing, the sky is falling comments that appear in this thread.

This service is directed at a specific niche, not for those who are on deadline for the myriad of mills we work for. Further, under this company's scenario, you have to provide all of the information, all of the pictures and you submit the final report, not the company. Doesn't sound like auto accept or auto fill to me.

I don't see too much business being generated. #1, If I understand it, he will do a bpo for you and email it back with 48 hours. Normally we only get 48 hours to submit it. If I have to take the photos, query the MLS for comps, save the comp details to a pdf or whatever and then email to him and then wait for a reply, I could already have completed the work by taking another 15 minutes and then I know it is done.

#2, the bpo will need to be reinputted on the specific companies web form. I guess you could give him your access code to RESNET, etc, but that to me would be too risky. I like to physically oversee assistants getting onto bank site with my access code.

#3, if he is charging $50, who is making the most money.

I would think it will a difficult proposition to make any money.

For what it's worth, it does say that he is deployed over sees in the 'About Us' page. It also says that he has 'specialized' in REOs since 2007.
