Banks are closed, is it a stupid question to ask if there will be no new orders today? I am in withdrawl. no find work.

Kind of weird. I actually got 2 on Sunday - didn't accept either one. One is so far away I wouldn't do it in any circumstance and the other had a due date of Monday. I don't work on Sunday or holidays.

I work every day. I loaded up on Friday but nothing new came in on Saturday.

I think companies threw a bunch of orders out there going into the weekend. Their employees get today off while some of us slave to catch up on our assignments. I drove 150 miles yesterday to photograph 8 assignments including one that's way out there. Some of these will be difficult, two are due today. If I don't get anything new today, it will be most welcome, as I've been slammed since the beginning of the month.

yea,I can't belive the miles I am putting on my car either. Tomorrow is going to be a monster day then. To change the subject for a minute. I can't understand why it's a 2 day exterior if you order sits in QC for 1 week with no QC issues. How annoying. I see my stuff sitting there.

I am going to answer my own question. I bet if your order sits in the QC for a long period of time they are doing the value reconciliation. sorry, this post should be in the EML topic.

I welcome the day off, I can get caught up on some yard and house work. Even if they were working today, I wouldn't be.

Work Work Work Dig Dig Dig. I envy those who can take off holidays. We got 4 assignments and a ton of MMRs due so no rest for the weary. Not complaining though glad to have the work.

Agreed. Ive got about 12 to upload today left from the weekend.

I cant imagine anything new being dropped today, unless perhaps it would be reassignments.

If I don't consciously take the time off, I never will. Learned that one the hard way. I was up late last night closing out everything that had to be for today and tomorrow, put in a new listing, and sent off some invoices.

We were told that you have to take time off and you will miss business regardless of when you do it. We reserve that conscious time off to visit grandbabies. (the oldest of which would wince at that term as she is 16)

Today is just not one of those days.

I remember I used to worry about when I had all my orders completed. I would tell my wife, "Honey, I'm unemployed!" Sure enough, within a day or two I would be slammed.

Enjoy the slow time while it lasts. Take in a movie, or a night out on the town. Sure shootin', you'll be busy enough soon in this buiz and you'll wish you had the break.
