Does anyone know if Ohio actually does background checks on new agents before taking the exam? I was under the impression that they did but overheard someone talking today in my class that his mentor is a convicted felon. His charge was back in the day but does that matter?

Its been a few years but I do not know of a backround check being done. Felons are not excluded from having a license, it has to be disclosed in the application though.
This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
