I'm a new agent just got my license last month yeah!!! :yay:
I still work a 9-5 job and will only be able to start real estate part-time. I need some good guidance. I took my real estate class at a Re Max broker office for the benefit of getting the class free (which nothing is really FREE) and the brand name of Re Max.
The office has a part time offer with the wife of the Full Time broker. They just sent me an agreement to sign but not sure I would like to stay because I don't think I will get any guidance. This is the first that I have heard from them since I dropped my license off. Contacted the office manager they let her go due to financial issues. Haven't received word about anyone else to reach out to.
The agreement is 70/30 split, $35 E/O per transaction, $400 yearly for use of office (didn't break down cost of copies, faxes, ect), and $15000 cap, with term of one year.
I spoke with another Re Max office that have part time offers starting at $50 month (office use) , $15 listing input( or could do yourself), $375 per transaction, $30 E/O, with no term. They have plans higher that include more this is the lowest.
Not sure what to do don't want to make a big mistake and not get any training or guidance.
I'm really seeking a company in the Atlanta area that has focus for part-timers. I haven't taken any training yet don't know where to start everyone leaves to go home at 5:00pm when I get off. I have been learning things to do from reading blogs, and surfing the web.
I will be going tomorrow to MLS to take the training on how to use the system.
I read people suggest to get a mentor, but where do I start for that. I also read people don't like to work with part-timers because they can't do business doing normal business hours.
My goal is to go full time but I won't be able to do that unless I get a chance to learn and get my feet wet. I'm single, so I don't have any additional income to cover until I get going full speed. All I need is some help and guidance, as well a little patience. I'm willing to do what ever I need to do. I will assist anyone just for a chance to learn.
Any suggestions, guideance, tips, all is appreciated.
Thanking you in advance for your support.
