A company that makes you pay $4.80 per city sounds like a big waste of money to me. I suggest staying away from them. I did send them an email and will see how they respond.

This company is very questionable. I stopped paying for reotrans a long time ago.

I have had good luck with this company. I think the whole buyer thing is to create immediate double ended transactions because my commission is cut when I handle both sides of a transaction.

Good luck, well I always try to consider my self lucky!! With reoprep not only do I have bpo orders but I have listings as well, and my asset manager is fine to work with. I have experienced with other companies the bpo orders are all you get for a while, sometimes all you get period.

Their buyer program is fantastic. I have closed a few deals through it. I am not a huge fan for the difficulty in cfk's and bpo's but business is business. Anything these days is something if you know what I mean.

I think they work with quite a few institutions that access the agents for bpo's, foreclosures, and short sales. I know here locally I have received a few short sale listing leads from them which turned out to be good because the home owner was denied a loan modification. It is kind of a plug and play type of a system. I am not complaining though. I have also received some cheapy 35.00 BPO's from a company that says they got me from their site. So all in all I would say they are a good outfit. (I always ask for Roger White when I email/call he is a SD rep)

So you can't get BPOs or REO listings unless you pay for zip codes?

Their short sale program is fantastic! I used to hate ss's but now they seem to be pretty much a slam dunk.
Sassy411 from what I understand you have to pay for one zip code to be listed.(I have a few) I have a role play partner that lives somewhere in the middle of no where and he says reoprep contacted him and needed an agent in that area and didnt charge him but that is probably the exception.

VA Broker, Not really to sure why you are calling me out.... I am trying to learn things here and be helpful as well. Maybe I should clarify. Yes I am a member and I have had great results. Their short sale listing assignment program is fantastic because it eliminates the BS that normally comes with short sales. Their short sales are not typical leads they are denied loan modifications so the file has already started and they have approval with their lender to do a short sale, and the sellers are prepared as well. I do not have a problem understanding what I pay for. I pay for multiple zips around my office. I am just not 100% sure if they have a free listing like equator does. We all know you will not get anything with your free zip on equator and you have to purchase multiple zips. As for them listing who they assign from, well what would that have to do with me?? I can tell you that my short sales have been through multiple banks. (If you want to private message me I will elaborate). I have also beed turned down from a few zip codes because they said they have a saturation limit to eliminate too many agents in one area. That is actually a good thing compared to a lot of these reo companies out there.

After reading through quite a few articles on the internet I decided to add a few zip codes to my area with them. I think a lot of agents have been frusturated being signed up with so many companies and not getting much business. With a lot of agents cancelling and we are supposed to be getting a bunch of reo's coming on the market 2012 why not expand and give it a shot. I spend 400 dollars on a mailer every few months that doesnt seem to give me much of a return anyways haha... On a side note, when I called I spoke with a really nice rep. She told me to make sure I have a "certified" profile update every week. I asked what this certified profile was and she walked me through it. Just a FYI..

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
