Not sure what you mean. You can hide friends and their updates, quite easily. Just mouse over to the right under the share button and hide will appear. But if you mean notifications, I am not sure.

I'm pretty new to the thing too.

ManFromTheBand, that is a good thought if I only knew how Facebook works. I just started being active in the site, do you know of a tutorial? When I write a blog I enter the link & check out my new blog under the "what's on your mind area" then hit share. Is this correct, do the others get a notice? I definetaly need some help!

You can pay per ad and then have an add on the right hand side of the screen. the more you pay more your add comes up.

yes, i have
i posted that there are condos for sale for only $30,000 and a friend of a friend was interested and got us connected

i showed him the home and he didn't buy it but i got a referral for short-selling his current home (i'm not a short sale specialist, and i wasn't going to practice on an inner-circle connection, kwim?) so the $30,000 posting is now a potential $2500 commission check smile

Hey thanks, I will try that idea. There are so many foreclosures at the price range in my area. I was just going to send out a mailblast w/the foreclosures available but I will try this also. I am just learning facebook, thanks ManFromTheBank for the tutorial info.

Facebook is sort of working for me. It is the best way to remind your friends that you are in real estate. I posted a house I have for sale. A friend commented though he probably won't be able to buy it that it has gotten him to thinking about buying again. A friend I might say that I haven't seen in years and don't even have his home address or phone number. It keeps you in front of your friends all the time. Not just a monthly letter that gets old or something like that. Not a bothersome call. What I do from time to time is post a link to a home or property that I find is interesting to me. I get lots of comments about each one from my friends. So it proves that I'm in front of them as a Realtor.

Anyone created a facebook page for you company?
I have seen some commercial sites you can become fans of. Any idea how that works?
