I need some guidance concerning some shady practices that a reo broker that I used to work for has been pulling. I was an unlicensed assistant completing BPO's, creating ad publications, And for the last month or so doing property preservation jobs. I found out that Doing BPO's without having a license is illegal/against my states realestate guidlines. I left the company after finding out that my bids were put under a fake construction company fabricated by the broker, and using bid forms from a company that does not do work for them anymore. I did some research and what I found is this is not only extremely unethical but also may violate anti-trust laws. He jacked up my bids, forged my name and will probably get approved to do the services under the other construction entity and pay someone next to nothing to do the work and pocket the rest, He refuses to pay me, and has been ducking and dodging for the last couple weeks, making up excuses why he can't. I also happened to find a bid that was sent to Fannie Mae for a carpet cleaning that I had done, I charged him $400, he charged them $500, pocketing the rest. I remember coming accross a Fannie email stating that co-assist agents are not allowed to directly handle their properties. Did I read that wrong? He passes out all of his REO's to all of the agents under him on rotation. Not two weeks ago, He had fired his managing broker in one of his other offices out of the blue. Tried to get her arrested, accusing her of stealing, and making up other slander excuses as to why, Almost putting her in the mental ward. I thought about putting leins on the properties I had completed work on and hadn't payed me for. I am terrified that he will try to get me arrested or try to make me his "fall guy". I would like some suggestions as to what I should do. He owes alot of money, screwed alot of people. he has no business in realestate. In our small town of 50 thousand, he has some local officials in his pocket, I have no doubt of that. Should I call the local Board? Attorney general? FBI?
