Since the health care industry is surving and physicians need to establish residency, I think trying to market to MDs/DOs is a good idea

I have put a couple listings on www.medi-fieds.com to try it out

Sorry but I don't think someone looking for a home to purchase, whether they are in the medical profession or not, are going to look for your website as a source of listings to consider. They are more likely to go to realtor.com, or craigslist, or remax.com, or coldwellbanker.com or they will just run some generic web searches for homes in the destination town. They will get hits to lots of agent websites in those towns.

I would advertise my listings that are close to medical facilities in the same places as any other listing, but always make sure to mention their proximity to hospitals, etc. Have to agree with Cave Man on this one.

If you truly want to market your services to medical professionals don't just depend on the internet and a couple of listings. Go to your local hospitals and build relationships with their human resources department or whoever hires nurses and other professionals. If there are large medical practices in your area such as family doctors, anethesialogists groups and other such groups contact them about giving your information to new doctors moving to the area.

I had a friend that moved to the area to be a radiologist in the local hospital. In his hiring pack was the name of a couple Realtors. Then soon after one of them called him. So that goes to show you that Realtor had some great contacts in that hospital.

The site to me looks cheap. I don't see alot of Doctors using it just based on looks.

It is a good idea though to market to them. Generally throught the HR department though. I've tried for years to become part of the "benefit" list of discounted services. They have 3 Realtors on their list that offer discounted services to their employees. Im on the list to be added to the list.

Networking and building relationships does seem like a good way to market to such a specific audience.

If it is free put it there, it is never bad to have more exposure, just I do not think somebody will be looking for a house on this site...
