Due to holiday approaching, I only have 3 hours to complete my first occupancy check with my first REO assignment. The form ask if the property located in an area that requires vacant and/or REO property to be registered? I'm in California. Normally, I'd search in the forum for the answer but I really have not much time. I'm sorry but please answer my question. Thank you so much. Happy 4th of July!

Call your asset manager and request that they reassign the property ASAP.

I think it's because of all of those stalkers who are seeking out people who ask too many questions.

Well...thank you so much for all the answers and judgement. Like I previously mentioned, as long as I get the correct answer, I don't mind being criticized. It's part of learning any way. Cheers...everyone!

Theres plenty of business out there for everyone and people need to be alot more helpful. We all started out as newbies, and if we cant come here for help where else can we find it? Not in our own offices, thats real competitition!

Thank you for the new encouragement and understanding. I'll continue doing my best. Soon enough my experience will be useful to others. And..to other REO rookie, don't be afraid to ask questions and be prepared to be occasionally offended, there'll always be answers...if not here then try other places. Keep on keeping on [*^_^*]

Congratulations Lin. Some people on this forum are so negative and I just ignore them. Many times when I ask question some peoples are very helpful and I always appreciate their help where as some make jokes of it so I just ignore them.

CanDo, BMoran, Aurora.....thanks for the positive comments.

Here goes another rookie question...The tenants want to purchase this property. AM told me I need to fill out the eviction form while waiting on the purchasing process. I checked their site but didn't find the specific form. I'm not sure where to get the form. Please advise.

Thanks Cando. I wouldn't be able to submit the occupancy status on time without your prompt PM. A quick pause from my first assignment will sure give me time to absorb all the knowledge I learned from this first assignment.

Usually if the seller is willing to sell to tenants, they will ask something like "If occupant is a tenant, are they interested in purchasing" right on the occupancy check form.

Lizl...that's true and I already submitted the occupancy check form with that fact marked. However, the eviction specialist asked me to fill out the eviction form which is a separate form. This was last Thursday and I thought I could find that form on their site but it wasn't there. I'll contact the specialist tomorrow and find out. Thank you for taking your time to respond.

Just to update...The eviction form for BAM is not on their website. One will need to contact the assinged eviction specialist to obtain that form. If you need it, PM me.
