Or does it matter? I ask as .info extentions are cheaper then .com.

I'll bet dollars to donuts that you'll get a ton of different answers, but IMHO, it doesn't matter from an SEO/SERPS standpoint. Incoming links, content, and domain age are what matter when it comes to ranking on the search engine.

HOWEVER - you will likely get a better clickthrough rate by consumers on the .com because it is perceived as a more credible extension.

There are always exceptions -- ie: winelibrary.tv and the phenom that is Gary Vay-ner-CHUCK, but that's because he built his brand - not because of his domain.

It doesn't matter. the .info domains work just as well as the .com - I have lots of them smile

What is important for seo is the keywords appearing in the rest of the domain name.

Thanks I just asking as I'm going to start creating a page for certain listings and the .info is cheaper then the .com. But I agree Joel about the .com being more credible.

If cost is a concern, you could just use Weebly.com. It's free & it will rank just as well (if not better.)

It's not much of a cost issue but it helps. Thanks for the weebly.com site. Good to know it exists.
